Dr Chnanis Kongsuwan Ladha

I am a psychological health consultant and therapist who is specialised in positive mental health, behavioural change and personal development. I'm certified in clinical hypnotherapy, positive psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based therapy. I have been practising clinical hypnotherapy and positive psychological interventions along with life coaching and counselling for over eight years.


I graduated with a Doctorate in Health (Mental health Intervention) from the University of Bath, UK. For my doctorate study, I developed a new intervention based on positive psychological theory, which applied hypnotherapy and mindfulness relaxation. The intervention aims to enhance people's emotional well-being and happiness regardless of their life transitions and daily life difficulties, which we all face. From this study, it has shown that positive hypnotherapy and mindfulness relaxation support people’s mental health and enhance their sense of well-being.


With over 8 years experience, I work with both individuals and organisations, either as one-to-one or group sessions. For organisations, I provide sessions to promote employees’ mental health and well-being as well as their work-life balance, which in turn brings about their improved personality and better work performance. For individuals, I provide one-to-one sessions not only to help them to overcome issues that they are experiencing such as stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional instability but also support them to obtain mental wellness and a healthy lifestyle for their holistic health.


I am a registered member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH, United Kingdom), Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC, United Kingdom), and International Association of Counselor and Therapist (IACT, USA). I always adhere to the code of ethics in my practice, which means you can most definitely rely on certain discretion for your best interests and welfare.


Personally, I always practise mindfulness in my everyday life. As I’m originally from Thailand, I grew up in a mindful culture and have been implementing mindfulness as a part of my daily life. The benefits of mindful-living that I have experienced brought me to study in the area where I can help others.


My greatest desire is to support people to flourish, be healthy, be happy and succeed in everyday life. I believe that health and happiness is not only the absence of illness but also the presence of wellness, which all of us have a unique potential to create the optimum wellness for ourselves. As such, your therapeutic sessions will be tailored just for you. As we work together, I will work my best to support you to overcome your issues, to bring about the positive changes you need, and to support you to be the best you, for the harmony and wellness of your mind and your life.
